The Mount Vets Poultry & Gamebird department run numerous poultry and chicken keeping courses throughout the year, for farmers and backyard poultry owners.
The team at Mount Vets have many years of experience dealing with commercial and non-commercial poultry of many species, including chickens, pheasants, ducks, geese, peafowl and quail.
We run our courses several times throughout the year to cover Poultry Health and Welfare for commercial flocks and how to care for your backyard friends.
Courses are available for both those new to the industry, and the more experienced. All courses cover areas including diagnostics, disease, anatomy, and best welfare practice.
