Puppy Parties

Getting a puppy is an exciting time and will bring a great deal of enjoyment to all the family. A well socialised pup will become a loving and much-loved member of the family. Mount Vets Puppy Party provides a fun and safe environment for you and your puppy to come and learn with other new owners about the best ways to bring up a new puppy. Evening Puppy Parties are held regularly at Mount Vets Wellington free of charge. These parties are hosted by Jacki Cook, our in-house behaviourist.

Some of the subjects covered are;

• Helping your puppy relax in its new home.
• Teaching the pup the “house rules”.
• Learning about your puppies needs and how they think.
• Playing with your pup.
• Preventing inappropriate behaviour.

Pups must have had the second part of their primary vaccination course at least a week before attending and be less than 20 weeks of age. Well behaved children are welcome too!
